Dapping tools are used to shape softer metals and waxes by punching into the depression of the blocks and dies. The punches and blocks are matched so that perfect hemispheres and domes can be formed in specified sizes. Hardened steel, 2-1/2" (64 mm) on each side. Six working surfaces with 17 various sized depressions up to 1-3/4" (45 mm) for shaping and working metal.
